Senior Security Technician

The opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated technician to join our Security Services Team in Hawkes Bay to lead teams with installation, servicing and maintenance to a range of leading Access Control, CCTV, Gate Automation and Security Systems.
The successful candidate will be hands-on, knowledgeable and experienced with a wide range of security installations, with the ability to not only perform under pressure but mentor Jnr staff as well.
Required Skills
- Full driving licence
- Experience with Gallagher, Tecom, Integriti or Protege Access Control Systems
- Experience with CCTV installation
- Experience in commissioning and programming of security systems/software
Desired Skills:
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge in IP Networking
- Self-motivated, excellent time management skills with ability to work well under pressure
- Current COA (or the ability to obtain one)
- Electrical experience
- National Certificate in Electronic Security level 3 (desired but not essential)
- Project management experience
- Must have the right to live and work in NZ
