Our security company started from humble beginnings in a converted pack shed on an apple orchard. Now we’ve grown into the large full service security solution provider we are today, with our headquarters in the Hastings CBD.
I am actively involved in the business, leading from the front and employing a hands-on approach to support staff and service customers.

Starting out as HomeSafe New Zealand Holdings Limited in 1997, founder Fred Stevenson was soon joined by son Matt, who came with a wealth of experience to add to the brand. In 2000 the company acquired its first monitoring station and re branded as HSM. In 2007, HSM moved into our current, purpose-built premises with a state of the art monitoring station from where we now monitor clients nationwide.
